Eli Pivnick Sachigo Lake First Nation

Booshoo! My name is Eli Pivnick and I am the teacher in Sachigo Lake. This is my fifth year with KiHS and my fourth in Sachigo. I teach Science and Math. I love hunting, fishing, canoeing, camping, skiing and other outdoor pursuits. This past summer I canoed from Ft Hope to Marten Falls on the Albany River as well as the Bloodvein River into Lake Winnipeg. I had one major wipe-out where my dog went through two big sets of rapids in an upside down canoe while my buddy and I tried to get the canoe to shore. It was exciting and challenging..,. and a little scary.
